The Minnesota House Education Policy Committee is meeting remotely at 2:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, April 8, 2020) to discuss a bill (HF 4415) that would require school districts and charter schools to pay hourly employees for changes in school employment practices as a result of COVID-19-related school closures and the conversion to distance learning programs.

The House Education Finance Division reviewed the bill Tuesday, but no action was taken. (See Session Daily story for information.)
