The Minnesota School Boards Association is looking forward to working with Gov. Tim Walz and will support every effort to make Minnesota the Education State.
“School boards have always believed, as well, that education for ALL students is the way to move our state forward,” said MSBA Executive Director Kirk Schneidawind. “We are glad that the governor is making education his top priority.”
The best and most equitable way to help students is to stabilize funding for schools with a 3 percent increase each year over the biennium, said Schneidawind.
Minnesota’s publicly elected school board members will be working alongside Gov. Walz with the same message: That all children will receive a high-quality education.
