A one-week Continuing Resolution (CR) has been signed into law by President Donald Trump. The U.S. Senate approved the measure Friday, April 28, by a voice vote. The U.S. House vote on the CR (H.J. Res. 99) is recorded at clerk.house.gov/evs/2017/roll236.xml.

The CR continues federal funding at current levels for education and other programs through May 5, giving Congress additional time to negotiate a final appropriations bill for the remainder of fiscal year 2017.
