Legislative Study Group on Educator Licensure meeting set for 1 p.m. webcast today

The Legislative Study Group on Educator Licensure is slated to meet from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. today (Thursday, July 21) at the Minnesota Senate Building (Room 1200).

The meeting is scheduled to be streamed via http://mnsenate.granicus.com/ViewPublisher.php?view_id=1

The Minnesota Legislature established this 12-member group to recommend how to restructure Minnesota’s teacher licensure system by consolidating all teacher licensure activities into a single state entity to ensure transparency and consistency or, at a minimum, clarify existing teacher licensure responsibilities to provide transparency and consistency.
