A recording of the April 4 edition of the “Monday Morning Coffee with the Government Relations Team” conference call is now available via the audio player below.
In this conference call, MSBA’s Denise Dittrich and Kimberley Dunn Lewis discussed the Teacher Shortage Act, a bill that would increase the funding formula by 1 percent, concurrent enrollment credentialing, the new requirements proposed for school boards in the House and Senate omnibus policy bills, school board elections, new task forces and much more.
NOTE: During the conference call’s question-and-answer session, one school board member asked for the contact information for members of the House Government and Elections Policy Committee in regards to a bill (HF 3123) that would modify the special election timeline to fill a vacancy on the school board.
