Encourage your high school juniors to apply for Minnesota House of Representatives High School Page Program

The 2016 legislative session will be here before you know it. That means it’s time for our high school students to start thinking about taking part in the Minnesota House of Representatives High School Page Program.

This is a fantastic opportunity for students interested in government, politics or the legislative process. Participants will meet legislators, help legislative staff prepare for committees or floor sessions, and gain valuable experience working at the Minnesota House of Representatives.

The program, which begins its first week on March 14, 2016, is open to all students in their junior year of high school. The deadline to apply is December 4 with all applicants being notified before the first of the year.

This a great chance for students to see firsthand how our state government operates.
