Story highlights importance of broadband access in rural areas

The Mankato Free Press posted a story on its website today, “Rural broadband development leads to many business, educational opportunities.”

The article highlights the inequity of broadband access in rural Minnesota. This inequity has a big impact on everything, including rural schools. The story includes this sentence: “Poor Internet access means children can’t use their school-issued iPads for homework at home.”
