MSBA summary provides highlights of vetoed education bill

The dust has settled from the 2015 legislative regular session … and Gov. Mark Dayton has vetoed the Omnibus Education Bill. We believe the majority of the bill will remain intact, as passed by both the House and the Senate, with the exception of some funding provisions.

To give you a preview of what will be the starting point for the final bill, please click here to view the MSBA Bill Summary outlining the provisions of the vetoed bill.

We will revise the summary once a special session has been called and a final bill agreed upon and passed.

If you have any questions, please contact MSBA’s Grace Keliher or Denise Dittrich.
