Rep. Johnson, Rep. Faust, Rep. Mullery, Rep. Persell at fair’s House booth today

A new lineup of House members will be making an appearance today at the House of Representatives booth at the state fair. Fairgoers are invited to meet and greet legislators and weigh in on hot political topics.

Today’s schedule:

Noon to 2 p.m.: Rep. Clark Johnson (19A)
2 p.m. to 4 p.m.: Rep. Tim Faust (11B)
4 p.m. to 6 p.m.: Rep. Joe Mullery (59A) and Rep. John Persell (5A)

The House of Representatives exhibit is located in the Education Building on Cosgrove Street, just north of Dan Patch Avenue.

This is a great opportunity for MSBA MEMBERS to ADVOCATE on behalf of public education. Stop by the booth and introduce yourself AND take the State Fair Survey AND write a personal note to your state representative and senator reminding them of the constitutional requirement to fund our public schools.

Also, take a photo of yourself with your local legislator and either send it to MSBA (@mnmsba) via Twitter at http://www.twitter.com/mnmsba … or e-mail it to MSBA’s Bruce Lombard at blombard@mnmsba.org for us to retweet or post.

Note: The schedule is subject to daily change. Like the Minnesota House of Representatives Public Information Services Facebook page at Facebook.com/MNHouseInfo or follow their Twitter feed at Twitter.com/MNHouseInfo for the most up-to-date-changes.
